New Etsy Design!

Phew! Finally, my Etsy shop's design is revamped! I just finished posting the updated images and my new logo and I think it looks great! (Check it out by clicking on the button to the left.) I am so in love with my company's new's so me and perfectly captures what Candles By Nature is all about. I'm just ecstatic that it's all finished and now I can return to focusing on experimenting with new candles  ;)

I also took some time this weekend and set up a workspace in my apartment. You may remember that I was originally looking to set up a studio space in an extra room at the house where we rent. It turns out that some of the other renters use this extra room as a "smoke room" during the winter when it's too cold to go outside. Unfortunately, this was a deal-breaker for me--I can't make candles in a room that smells like cigarettes! So we ended up moving some stuff out of our living room to create a work space and I think this will actually work out even better than my original idea. I'll have lots of natural light to work with and I can still work right in my own home. I'll be posting pics of my new workspace soon, but it's definitely still a work in progress. I have lots of ideas to decorate my workspace and really make it my excited!

Stay tuned for an update on my sweet new workspace and also some pics of an adorable custom Christmas order I'm working on!

  1. I tried Candle Making once....gave it up to do jewelry instead....but really liked it and the wonderful scents....I use candles in my home and as your shop too...good luck on your craft.

  2. I am a novice candle maker . . . my crafty thing is making jewelry and painting. Sometimes I combine both. I like taking old jewelry and turning into a new treasure.

We share a love of candles . . . I have them everywhere! Looking forward to exploring your blog further :-)

Thank you for following my blog . . . I'm following you now!

Hope you are having an awesome Thanksgiving holiday . . . Gina

  3. Found you on the Pink Dandy Chatter blog hop. I hand-craft soy candles and its so nice to meet someone else whose passion is the same. :o)

  4. I love the look of your Etsy Shop! I "hearted" it too! :) Wishing you good luck and much success. Bet you're so happy to have some workspace set up... looking forward to pics when you post them. I am just putting the finishing touches on my "clayroom" and will feel much more organized once it's finished! :)

  5. Oooh, love the new shop! Your tea cup candles are too cute!
