Thanksgiving Sale!

Thanksgiving is now only one week away (can you believe it?)! To celebrate the holiday, I am offering my Apple Orchard and Plumberry candles at a discounted price until Friday, 11/25.

Apple Orchard smells just like fresh, crisp apples! After just a few minutes of burning, you'll feel like you're walking through an apple orchard on a cool autumn afternoon.

Plumberry is a unique, yet somehow still traditional, fragrance. with hints of clove, raspberry, pear, and—of course—plum. It’s a bit sweet with just the right amount of autumn-inspired spice.

These two scents are absolutely perfect for the autumn season and would be a wonderful addition to any family gathering or for everyday occasions. Be sure to pick them up before the sale ends!

Stamford Scarecrow Festival

It's that time of year again...the Stamford Scarecrow Festival is here! This year it's being held on Sunday, September 25 from 11-5 right in the village of Stamford.

I had so much fun at the festival last year, with all of the great vendors and fall-themed activities and I'm excited to be there again this year! If you're in the area, be sure to drop by. And if you're not local, keep an eye out for some pictures and a recap blog post of the event afterwards.

Happy Autumn!!

New Autumn Scents!

I am proud to finally present my new scents for Autumn! I've brought back Apple Orchard, which is one of my favorites and a best-seller from last year, along with two brand spankin' new scents--Plumberry and Witch's Brew.

Now, without further adieu, I give you...

Apple Orchard
This smells just like fresh, crisp apples! After just a few minutes of burning, you'll feel like you're walking through an apple orchard on a cool autumn afternoon.

Plumberry

Plumberry is a unique, yet somehow still traditional, fragrance. with hints of clove, raspberry, pear, and—of course—plum. It’s a bit sweet with just the right amount of autumn-inspired spice.

Witch's Brew
Witch’s Brew is a mysteriously spicy and herbal fragrance with notes of cinnamon and bergamot. This is the perfect Halloween scent, sure to bring your magical hauntings to the astral plane!

Check them out at my shop, along with all of my year-round fragrances!

Fall is Closer Than You Think!

You have a limit of 18 tags. Use them wisely.
Oops, that tag already exists. Try again.
Sorry, that tag is restricted. Please try again.
Sorry, each tag is limited to 30 characters.
As you may already know, autumn is my favorite season and I look forward to it each year. In fact, just the other day I was reflecting on how, while I am loving the summer months, I'm eager for the leaves to start changing and for the beloved "sweater weather" to arrive. Apparently, I'm not the only one thinking about the next season because my Vanilla Chai candle was featured in this lovely Treasury:

Fall Colors

I had been meaning to post these images for about a week now but am only now getting the chance to actually sit down and do it. I took these photos to show you guys what my neighborhood looks like in autumn because I've just been so impressed with the gorgeous fall colors!

That body of water you see is a branch of the Delaware River. My apartment actually overlooks that little lake-type area and people go fishing there in the summer.

Here is a view of our backyard

Eeek...look at all those leaves just waiting to be raked! Yet another thing on our to-do list haha

That mini waterfall is actually part of a dam, but it still creates a nice, calming background noise of falling water.
I hope you all enjoyed this little tour into my area's autumn splendor. If you've posted any pics of your own fall colors, please let me know...I love seeing the seasons in different parts of the country (and the world)!

Scarecrowin' it Up!

This past Sunday I worked a booth at my local Scarecrow Festival. What the heck is a Scarecrow Festival, you ask? Well, it's basically a harvest festival with lots of great crafts, art, and local food. And, of course, there's a scarecrow competition!

I unfortunately wasn't able to go around and take any pictures of the other booths or the scarecrows, but here are some shots of my fall-themed table. You may also recognize that adorable apple/pumpkin garland that I had posted about here.

Because I didn't get any scarecrow pics to share with you guys, here are some cute scarecrow-themed items I found on Etsy:

Fall Scarecrow Goats Milk Soap by Barr of Soap

Scarecrow Polymer Clay Buttons by Digitsdesigns

Pumpkin Scarecrow Brooch by Designsbloom
Lil' Scarecrow Costume by Yaya Papaya
Scarecrow Handmade Figurine by Trina's Clay Creations
Hand Painted Gourd Scarecrow by From Grams House
I hope you all enjoyed those adorable scarecrows and please be sure to check out all of these great shops!

Has anyone else gone to a harvest festival lately? Did any of them have themes like our Scarecrow Festival?
